Do I need teaching experience?

Yes. Every EngVarta expert must hold a TESOL, TOEFL, or ESL certification — or an equivalent demonstrable level of English teaching experience (typically 2+ years). All selected experts then complete EngVarta’s own expert training and accent-standards programme before taking live sessions. This ensures every learner gets a genuinely qualified, consistently trained professional on every call.

What accent do EngVarta experts speak with?

EngVarta experts are trained in clear, neutral, globally understood English — the register used in international business, US workplaces, UK offices, and Gulf corporate settings equally. It’s not a performed American accent or a deliberately Indian one. It’s the practical neutral that removes accent as a barrier regardless of who you’re speaking to.

How much can I earn?

Experts earn between ₹12,000 and ₹45,000 per month, depending on the number of hours they dedicate. The more hours you put in, the more you earn.

Will learners know my real identity?

No. You operate under a username only. Your real name, photo, and personal details are never shared with learners. Complete anonymity is guaranteed.

What are the working hours?

You commit your available hours from our operating window of 7 AM to midnight, every day. You choose your own slots — but a minimum of 4 hours per day is required. Consistency is key to serving our learners well.

Do I need to follow a fixed curriculum?

No. EngVarta is a practice platform, not a course. You help learners practice spoken English through natural conversation, guided by your own expertise and our training.

Is there any training before I start?

Yes. Every selected expert goes through a short training module before their first live session. This ensures you’re comfortable with the platform and our approach.
